Mr. Claiborne worked for The Times for nearly 30 years, from 1957 to 1986, and served as both its food editor and, intermittently, its restaurant critic. In his obituary, The Times noted that “one of Mr. Claiborne's legacies as a journalist is how he demystified for his readers the world of haute cuisine, and even made it look like fun.”
To maintain historical integrity, the photograph is reprinted in its original hard-copy condition. This made-to-order image is printed on giclée archival photo paper and is available framed or unframed. Framed photography comes ready to hang with a removable wire attached to the back.
